Praying won't regulate cellular intake of glucose

This post was deleted for the following reason: This is a terrible thing that is happening. At the same time this is an angry post about dead children that is not very well suited to metafilter. What is there to discuss other than "oh my gosh, these people are ignorant assholes" except for, I guess, the prayer angle which dooms it if nothing else does. -- jessamyn
